We propel and uplift transformative campaigns through movement lawyering.
Movements need legal strategies beyond traditional lawyering to propel our movements forward. We believe organizing combined with legal strategy can build the power needed to yield transformative outcomes. Movement lawyering focuses on the big picture; we hold in consultation more than one subject of a lawsuit, and work tirelessly to construct offensive legal strategies for ground-breaking grassroots policy campaigns.
The issues of criminalization and incarceration are not five-year plans, and we must fight for justice and accountability by accepting the fact that the courts are a political process. Moreover, the former administration installed people aligned with an anti-immigrant vision into our immigration systems and courts, and as a result, these systems will be weaponized against immigrants and immigrant-led organizing for decades to come.
